The SILKYPIX Developer Studio 3.0 Software from Shortcut Software is a digital camera RAW conversion suite for Mac and Windows. The software works with RAW files, allowing you to adjust images and output to standard JPG file format.
RAW Image Processing
RAW files contain the uncompressed data that your digital camera sensor captures. These files can be edited much more effectively than compressed JPG images that are processed by the camera in real time. SILKYPIX allows you to process these images, giving you a true digital darkroom. You'll be able to control white balance, exposure bias, contrast, sharpness, and much more.
Nondestructive Image Editing
SILKYPIX makes no changes to the actual RAW data file. Adjustments are made in a nondestructive manner. This allows you to process a single RAW file in several different ways, giving you the ability to always work with the original image that was taken by the camera.
The software is compatible with prosumer and professional cameras from major manufacturers. These include Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Sony, Konica Minolta, Panasonic, Epson, Leica, and more! Compatibility is updated weekly, ensuring that the latest and greatest DSLR works with the software.
