Pentax K-3 II DSLR Camera

The Pentax K3 II employs enhanced image processing and sensor-shift Shake Reduction components to their saturated potential, it's an advanced DSLR enhanced for both high-speed and high-resolution photography. Containing a 24.35 megapixel APS CMOS sensor along with a PRIME III image processor, the K3 II is capable of shooting up to 8.3 frames per second, full HD video capture, and has a sensitivity range from ISO 100 thru 51200. Taking advantage of the image traits is a selectable anti-aliasing filter, which can be switched on or off to either capture the highest resolution and sharpness possible or deliver enhanced protection against moiré, and the integrated image stabilization compensates up to 4.5 stops of camera shake for crisper images. In addition, this sensor-shift design features a Pixel Shift Resolution function, which blends four separate exposures into a single frame while relocating the sensor in single pixel increments between each shot as a way to acquire truer colors, greater resolving power, and diminished noise. An AstroTracer also makes use of the sensor-shift mechanism which utilizes the in-camera GPS function along with the shifting sensor to atone for the Earth's rotation and diminish the appearance of star trails when shooting the night sky.

As a complement to the imaging capabilities, a SAFOX11 autofocus system makes use of 27 distinct phase-detection points, of which 25 are cross-type, to quickly and precisely acquire focus. Enhanced continuous AF mode maintains critical focus on moving subjects more efficiently, and the 86k-pixel RGB exposure metering sensor also assists in focusing performance by providing a metering range down to -3 EV. Also aiding the K-3 II's use in adverse situations is a tough magnesium alloy and stainless steel body shell that incorporates 92 unique seals to make it water, cold, and dust-resistant. A big 0.95x optical pentaprism viewfinder provides brilliant, eye-level viewing with 100% frame coverage while a 3.2 inch 1.03m-dot LCD screen provides accurate live view shooting and image playback.
