Hasselblad 503-CW Medium Format Manual Focus SLR Camera Kit, and Waist Level Finder, A-12 Back and an 80mm f/2.8 Planar T* CFE Lens. is one of the major building blocks of the Hasselblad Camera System and is an ideal choice both for hand-held photography and as a studio camera.

The 503CW combines TTL flash metering , power winder/IR remote options, 1/500 sec flash synch, , and compatibility to peripherals past and present. The camera is interchangeable with the entire array of Hasselblad leaf shutter lenses (the standard 80mm 2.8 lens is included in this Kit) and operates at lens leaf shutter speeds ranging from 1 to 1/500 sec.The 503CW is a perfect camera for practically all situations, wherever you may find yourself, and easily adapts to fit your situation or changing needs.

The 503CW may use any one of 14 different lenses, ranging from 30 to 500 mm focal lengths. All lenses are manufactured by Zeiss , a world leading optics manufacturer. The Zeiss T* anti-reflection coating & internal stray light reducing treatments, deliver unbeatable image contrast and color saturation. The Hasselblad system also features converters of the same optical quality in 1.4x, 2x Converter XE and the PC-Mutar 1.4x for perspective control. The interchangeable film magazines provide quick reloading of film, change of film type or formats. Magazines for 120, (A-12 mag. are included in this camera Kit) 220, and 70 mm perforated film. Film magazines may be changed at the photographers option without losing a single frame. Exposure & composition may be immediately tested using the Polaroid magazine.  Introduced in 1996
