Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL-II Manual Focus Lens for Nikon Film & Digital Cameras

Optical specialist Carl Zeiss has augmented the Distagon T* 2/35 with a Canon EF bayonet mount to its lens well-known for photographic imaging:. A fast, moderately wide-angle Distagon T* 2/35 ZE that fits all SLR and DSLR EOS cameras. The classic 35mm focal length is perfect for travel, advertising, and nature photographers as it takes in dynamic viewpoints with long depth of focus with virtually no distortions.

Featuring a moderate 53 degrees horizontal wide angle, the Distagon T* 2/35 ZE makes it easy take in wide landscapes without photographers having to think about perspective effects as an element of design as would be necessary with a shorter focal length. The somewhat short rotation angle of the meticulous focusing mechanism allows fast but exact focusing when necessary.

The Distagon T* 2/35 ZE provides high image quality across the total aperture and focusing area. We can thank its sophisticated optical engineering, in which nine elements are aligned perfectly, permitting particularly high imaging results over the entire image scene.

As a tripod isn't handy all the time, when traveling, the starting 1:2, aperture allows the Distagon T* 2/35 to easily capture images in poor light, making perfect photos achievable even under less than perfect lighting situations. When fast action is needed, or when there isn't enough space to allow a tripod, the ZEISS 2/35 lens comes up with sharp handheld photos even in twilight or indoors. And with to its unique optical engineering and the anti-reflection lens coating, it captures brilliant light sources without creating artifacts.

Also the Distagon T* 2/35 is ideal on-the-go due to the all-metal and enormously durable meticulous workings for which makes Carl Zeiss lenses recognized.

This is ZEISS’ number four EF bayonet ZE wide-angle lens mount. It comes on the heels of the recent roll-out of a pair ultra-wide-angle lenses, the Distagon T* 3,5/18 ZE plus Distagon T* 2,8/21 ZE, along with another moderate wide-angle, the Distagon T* 2/28 ZE.
