Sony Nex System

 The Sony NEX-3
has all picture quality of a DSLR, yet it's about half the size, half the weight and far less complex5. Pulling off this minor miracle took some clever innovations in glass, silicon and software code.
Sony joins the Digital Interchangeable Lens (DIL, aka mirrorless DSLR) camera rank with the NEX-3 and NEX-5, both using a 14.2MP EXMOR APS HD CMOS sensor. The advantages are indisputable: DSLR image quality and performance in a smaller and lighter body. The NEX5 even accomplishes what many traditional DSLR
camera manufacturers have been telling us for years was technically
impossible to accomplish: a less than 1 inch distance from lens mount to
image sensor plane.
