Focus at the Speed of Sight

Sony Alpha a6300 Mirrorless Digital Camera Quick-focusing and 4K-shooting, the Sony Alpha a6300 is an all around mirrorless APS-C-format digital camera designed for multimedia photographers. Revolving around a revised 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor along with BIONZ X image processor, clean image quality is delivered with a broad expandable sensitivity range up to ISO 51200, along with express readout speeds for internal Full HD 1080p 120 and 4k 30 video capture with full pixel readout. Still photographers also gain an advantage from the relevant processing speed, which delivers continuous shooting at 11 frames per second for as many as 21 raw frames in a single burst, as well as 14-bit raw output files. Supplementing both stills and video images, the sensor and processor combination also make 4D FOCUS available, which fuse a wide-coverage 425-point phase-detection system featuring a 169-area contrast detection system for fast and exact focusing performance. This focusing system also applies High-density Tracking autofocus for more efficient and precise tracking of moving objects across the image frame. An all-around camera for photographers and videographers alike, the a6300 is symbolized by its speed and additionally qualified by its refined image and video traits.

Complementing the imaging abilities, the a6300 body is also made of robust magnesium alloy that is resistant to dust- and moisture to allow working in severe environments. The compact profile includes a high-resolution XGA Tru-Finder OLED 2.36m dot electronic viewfinder for brilliant, clear, eye-level viewing, and this EVF offers a 120 frames per second viewing mode for smooth tracking of fast-moving objects. A rear mounted 3.0" 921.6k-dot LCD monitor is also part of the camera which has a tilting design to take advantage of shooting from high and low viewing angles. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC permits wireless remote mastery over the camera, or for just sharing images online or simply linking with a mobile device for perceptive wireless control.
