A tad small. Although this is may be just nitpicking although when employing the NEX and making lens adjustments, people with medium or large hands find the lens is somewhat short for holding. This is easily fixed by simply attaching the lens hood, after that it's really an ergonomic pleasure. I
recommend you buy a case, pouch, or sleeve, because one is not included.
