Up until recently the Korean firm Samyang has been known for its cheap manual long- focus lenses
containing both lenses and mirrors. These lenses come with a T-mount thread which can be connected to any reflex camera by using the appropriate link. Samyang’s telephoto lenses have been offered at temptingly low prices thanks to the optical simplicity of their instruments, which
reminds me more of refractors and Maksutov telescopes designed for astronomy enthusiasts than of photographic lenses.

Samyang 8 mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fish-eye lens is designed for APS-C image sensor. It creates images with an expanded perpective, including images with a creatively deformed outlook and a sharp pan focus that extends throughout the entire frame. By offering 180 degree angle of view, this fisheye lens ca be used to create amazing image expressions that cannot be seen with the human eye, such as exaggerated perpective and disortion. Samyang 14mm F2.8 for Nikon with electronic interface

Samyang announces the Samyang AE 14 mm f / 2.8 ED IF AS UMC lens will be released in late 2010/2011. The
lens was officially presented during the international exhibition of photography Photokina 2010 in Cologne.
The new Samyang AE 14 mm f / 2.8 ED IF AS UMC Nikon F mount, will be available for sale in just over two months time, ie at the end of 2010/2011. Suggested retail price for the product is set at € 329.
