A "normal" prime lens is designed to provide an angle of view that is close to what the human eye perceives. This 35mm lens possesses spherical aberration correction through the use of an aspherical lenses for improved image quality.
This particular lens is rather lightweight and compact and comfortably fits in most every camera bag without creating an undue burden on a photographer.

Made up of a 5/6 lens constitution, including F22 aperture and Aspherical lenses, the D-XENOGON 35mm lens features a 49mm
filter. The field of view is 44 (53 for GX-10), and the single lens' 0.3m short focal length enables vivid image creation without distortion.
