The Korean made Samyang is rebadged as
Bower, Falcon, Opteka,
Phoenix, Polar, Rokinon, Sakar,
Vivitar and others.
Samyang offers a variety of uniquely priced optics, delivering a lot of optical capability for very little money. More recently, they have produced some of the long 500mm f/8 and 400mm f/6.3 telephoto glass lenses described below, which used to be made in Japan.
The T-mount system was introduced by Tamron in 1957 as a universal lens mount for 35mm cameras. The idea was that each lens would have a standard threaded rear flange. A camera specific adapter would then be attached at the point of sale, as needed. This greatly reduced costs since only the T-mount adapters needed to be stocked, rather than different versions of every lens

Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 Manual Focus Telephoto
Lens
The Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 Manual Focus Lens is a special effort in the independent lens manufacturer world, being a popular focal length for serious portraiture combined with an extra large f/1.4 maximum aperture. Most independent manufacturer lenses are either zooms or very short or long focal length fixed lenses.
With the appropriate mount, this lens is appropriate for
Canon, Pentax, Sony and Nikon FX "full frame" cameras in addition to their 15.6 x 23.7mm "APS-C" style digital 'DX' SLR cameras, and works similarly upon the cameras as later-model Nikon manual focus lenses. This lens is precision manufactured in South Korea.
With a 35mm equivalent focal length of ~127mm and that f/1.4 aperture on this
Rokinon 85mm lens opens up photographic opportunities you'll never get with your zoom. Capture close portraits of singers on dark stages with only spotlights on their faces, and those background lights will be soft cascades of low-contrast coloring. With the big f/1.4 opening, you'll have enough light to stop subject motion. Or try it in brighter conditions at fast shutter speeds and low ISOs to make great shots of people in front of blooming trees, with background flowers almost looking like paintings. It isn't easy nailing manual focus at f/1.4-2.0 (nor for that matter is it easy for an AF system), but you'll get better with practice, and soon be making many snaps that stand out in a crowd.

500mm f/6.3 Manual Focus Telephoto T-Mount Lens The Bower 500mm f/6.3 Manual Focus Lens is a catadioptric mirror T-mount lens, precision manufactured in South Korea.
When combined with the T-mount to fit your camera system, this mirror lens mounts to camera and works on both "full frame" cameras as well as the "APS-C" style digital SLR cameras. T-Mounts are available for all the digital SLR systems, as well as for C-mount systems. However, in every case the fixed f/6.3 aperture is not communicated to the camera body. 650-2600mm f/8-16 Manual Focus
T-Mount Lens
This extreme 650-2600mm f/8-16
Manual Focus Lens from Bower is an economical way to achieve some ultra-telephoto photography, all the way up to 1300mm. This is a T-mount lens, which means that aperture is not communicated to or controlled by the camera body, and as such must be used only in aperture-priority autoexposure mode (if your camera has it) or in the manual exposure mode. There are T-mounts available for every modern DSLR system as well as for most older film cameras and even C-mount cameras.
It will work on both "full frame" digital cameras as well as the smaller-format APS-C (15 x 22mm) cameras, but has only one effective aperture at any focal length, which varies from f/8.0 at 650mm to f/16.0 at 1300mm. That's not much of a
hindrance, however, as you'd likely use this lens at its relatively small maximum aperture in any case.

The
Rokinon 800mm f/8 Manual Focus Telephoto
T-Mount Lens is a catadioptric mirror T- mount lens, precision manufactured in South Korea.
This lens, at 4.4 x 5.2" and just over 2 pounds, has a broad diameter and stocky build. It is a bit easier to handle than a normal 800mm refractor lens, but it is still a super-telephoto in any case (you should use a tripod/monopod in any case for best results). It also has a much different rendering of out of focus areas than a normal lens; highlights will be doughnut-shaped rings with more saturation and contrast on the edge of the ring than on the center.
This lens is an ideal candidate for astrophotography use when mounted to a Vixen GP2 Photo Guider (or other motorized equatorial telescope mount).
