Most DSLRs also allow precise preview of depth of field. In addition, most professional photographers prefer DSLR cameras for their larger sensors (as compared to compact digitals). Interchangeable Lens Cameras encompass sensors that are by and large closer in size to the conventional film formats that a majority of existing professional photographers began using. Large sensors allow for comparable picture angle and depths of field to film cameras.
