The HX9v is built upon a Exmor R CMOS 1/2.3"-style, 16.2 operational megapixel, back illuminated, sensor containing an RGB color filter collection, united with a 16x Sony G-brand optical zoom which provides 4:3 aspect ratio, still picture shooting.
