Samsung releases SH100 Wi-Fi enabled digital compact

Samsung has released the SH100 Wi-Fi enabled compact digital camera that allows users to directly connect to a wireless network allowing for sharing of images and videos. Also, the camera lets users pair up with congruent smartphones to operate the camera remotely, use geo-tagging, or preview the scene. It features the identical 3.0 inch LCD touchscreen, 14.2Mp image sensor, and HD movie recording functions of its predecessor, the ST80 Wi-Fi compact camera, although it features a more useable 26-130mm equivalent zoom lens. Consumers will be able to see the SH100 in retail stores beginning in March 2011 at a suggested MSRP of $199.99.
