Leica D-Lux 6 fast lens Camera

Leica D-Lux 6 fast-lens enthusiast compact Leica D-Lux 6 fast-lens enthusiast compact point & shoot featuring an ultra-quick Leica Vario DC Summilux lens with a newly created 10.1 megapixel CMOS image sensor. It offers impeccable layout and construction which are the seal of Leica cameras. With the 10.1 megapixel 1/1.7 inch CMOS image sensor, the D-LUX 6 provides high res imaging with quick focus speeds and with its lens, featuring a maximum f/1.4, aperture allows you to confidently shoot using fast shutter speeds to acquire poor-light images or pictures containing fast moving subjects. Beautiful shallow field depth photos are possible with the attached lens on the D-LUX 6 with stepped focal lengths make it perfect for a wide array of photographs from macro to landscape and, naturally, photojournalism and street photography

Fine details, high contrast, and true colors are created by the new image sensor while the newly engineered image processor provides fast operation and a wider (80-12800) range of ISO sensitivity. Additionally an improvement from the prior D-LUX 5 is its 1080p Full HD Video that captures both premium-quality AVCHD and internet standard MP4.

Composition and review are delivered through the rear high resolution LCD monitor which has doubled it's predecessor's pixel count. At 3.0 inches featuring 920,000 pixels, its LCD screen is crisp and is easy to see even in bright sunlight. A newly developed available Electronic View Finder (EVF) has been created for this D-LUX 6 which delivers a crystal clear view of your frame using 1.4 million pixels while it also displays the menu settings for the camera. Named the EVF-3, an available accessory which has the ability to tilt up to 90 providing increased creativity and functionality.

Quicker access and increased creative control are the advantages of using the manual aperture setting ring found on the D-LUX 6, that few digital compact cameras now provide this feature. Additionally, a control for a neutral density filter is located on the back side of the camera. The filter can reduce light intake as much as 3 EV steps for improving wide-aperture and lengthy exposure photography in bright light. A level is also available for keeping your image level when this type of control is desirable and images are saved in both RAW and JPG to assure flexibility and quality during in post-processing . - Sep 17, 2012 ✓
