The recently announced PowerShot A-Series along with supplements to the Canon ELPH-Series are loaded with highly developed features such as the super-zoom abilities of the PowerrShot SX260 HS, GPS and CMOS in the PowerShot D20 waterproof camera, plus file sharing Wi-Fi for the Powershot ELPH530 HS & ELPH320 HS cameras. Other features of the newest PowerShot cameras include HD video recording, GEO-tagging*, and full menus of predefined SmartAUTO settings.*

The point-and-shoot Canon compact cameras are branded PowerShots. The PowerShot A series are reasonably priced but not to likely to sport features such as image stabilization.
