Canon has released the A3300 IS to round out the top its A line of inexpensive compacts. Similar to the ones before them (the Powershot A3000 IS & A3100 IS), the newest duo use rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries for power. The A3300 comes with a 3.0" LCD screen and
16Mp image sensor.
Includes a wide-angle 28-140mm 35mm equivalent. image-stabilized zoom lens (in
contrast to the less wide 35-140mm lens on the previous models), and the video
has upgraded from VGA to 720p HD image recording using H.624 compression.
