Pentax 28-80mm Lens Review by Gene Wright

The Pentax SMCP-FA 28-80mm f3.5-f5.6 lens comes in a stylish silver color and has a fully automatic diaphragm and a minimum focus distance of just 1.6 feet.

At just over 3 inches and weighing only 9.7 ounces, the lens is easy to take with you everywhere.

There is black lens which is newer and better than the one shown in the picture. The lens works just great. Takes great pictures. 

A standard zoom lens from a wide 28mm to a medium telephoto range of 80mm.

This "J" type lens is a compact, light-weight lens that was designed to match the smaller size of the new *ist and ZX-60 cameras. One of the ways the smaller size was made possible was by removing the aperture ring control from the lens. All aperture changes can be done directly on the camera.

Note: This lens is not compatible with some of the older PZ series cameras, or with manual exposure camera models.
