Olympus 150mm f/2.0 ED LensA high-performance telephoto lens that boasts high image quality and carrying ease. Extremely portable and designed specifically for digital photography like all of its Zuiko Digital counterparts this lens features a large maximum aperture of f2.0 (perfect for low light situations as well) and both ED and Super ED glass lens elements for outstanding sharpness and color.

Features

The 150mm f/2.0 Zuiko Digital Lens (focal length equivalent to 300mm on a 35mm film camera), is unprecedented in combining a first aperture of f2.0 with exceptionally compact size, low weight, and telephoto power.

It offers, thanks to the use of Super ED and ED lens elements, exceptionally sharp imaging with an absolute minimum of chromatic aberration.

It also has superb defocusing characteristics that make it possible for photographers to precisely achieve their creative goals.

Reviews
too sharp sometimes, May 23, 2009

It's enough to say this lens is belong to Super High Quality grade from Olympus. The lens is very sharp and sometimes too sharp. hard to PP because of the sharpness so you need to add more sharpness if you resized the photo or just crop 100% and you'll be fine. I have not used this lens with any teleconverter yet but I'll get EC-20 soon.

It's heavy but worth the weight and the money. the contrast and the colors just perfect. fast focus but a version with SWD would be super fast.
