More Slender Than a Typical HDSLR

Nikon D600 Left Nikon D600 24 MP Full Frame Camera. A 24.3MP full-frame CMOS FX-format image sensor camera in a compact Nikon case. So the D600 becomes more slender than a typical HDSLR and easier on the pocketbook. Also with the full-sized sensor there's a powerful processing engine in the EXPEED 3 processor system serves up features like 5.5 frames per second continuous shooting using full resolution. Also, compact as is, the D600 still finds room for a 3.2" LCD screen.

The D600 also contains additional hardy features which let the camera to expand to the photographer's requirements. Such attributes include a wide 100-6400 ISO range, which may also expanded to 50-25600. This method lets images be acquired in a diversity of lighting environments, from low to bright light, with nominal image noise. The D600 also features 39 focus points to acquire AF coverage of wide-areas for both still images and HD movie capture.

Additional ways that the Nikon D600 lets the photographer concentrate on the task at hand include qualities such as the well-known Nikon metering and in-camera intelligence. The camera makes use of the Nikon intelligent Scene Detection System featuring Color 3D Matrix Metering II to capture drop dead, high-definition images. This metering also takes into account the contrast, brightness, subject distance, plus the colors contained in the scene for precise, balanced images. The auto white balance, i-TTL flash, autofocus and subject tracking, all work in harmony as well.

The camera is also an HDSLR, containing 1080p HD movie capture. Selectable frame rates feature 30/25/24p using the high resolution plus 30/25/24p at 720p. Additional useful attributes at the photographer's beck and call for capturing movies include full-time autofocus with face-priority, manual exposure control, dedicated headphones, stereo mic inputs, Simultaneous Live View, plus lots more.

The D600 is congruent with all F-mount interchangeable Nikkor lenses (including both FX plus DX-format), providing the photographer an abundance of choices. In addition,

The available mobile WU-1b adapter lets you easily transfer images wirelessly from your D600 to a tablet or smart phone and even control your camera remotely from your phone.  - September 17. 2012 ✓
