Over 80% of homebuyers start their search for a new home on the Internet
according to statistics compiled by Realtor.com.
According to a National
Association of Realtors survey, 72% of buyers drove by or viewed a house for
sale as a result of searching the Internet and 46% walked through a house
after first visiting the home online.
Homes with multiple photos and virtual panorama tours are preferred by buyers when
looking at houses online. An increase in viewership of about 100% is seen
for every photo added to a listing. By the time a listing features six
photos, viewership has increased 558% over listings with no photos, says
Realtor.com
Virtual tours are even
more effective.
Only 15% of online buyers failed to use virtual tours
in their previewing process.
Listings with virtual panorama tours are clicked more than listings without a
virtual tour. More clicks mean that more potential buyers are looking at
your listing and your business.
