Tamron and Tokina
Become Micro Four Thirds Members
Today, there's really great news for Micro 4/3s photographers. Three new lens makers have joined the 4/3s format which includes lens builders Tamron and Tokina along with video camera manufacturer Astrodesign. Astrodesign builds 4K video rigs, although not much interest to the majority of you, however the two lens manufacturers hold a great deal more interest.
Tokina and Tamron have manufactured lower-priced lenses for SLRs cameras since the film days. Tamron even featured a mounting system which let one put a lens on any SLR 35mm camera body, although in the field it was of little use: How many people use more than one camera brand?

Must Have Photo Accessories That Cost less Than $25
Let's face it photography is an expensive hobby. Cameras cost a bunch and DSLR lenses often are more expensive than the camera. After you grasp the amount of money you need to spend on the bare essentials it can be disheartening to think about coming up with another fortune for accessories.
However, there's good news, there are lots of photo accessories priced under $25 (US).
Here's a list containing my favorites, while they often a priced much less than $25. However I dont consider them to be "budget or cheap" articles. They are invaluable tools I would have these items n my gadget bag even if the cost wasn't an issue. The combination of low cost along with value means they also make great gifts.
1. Nikon (or similar) Lens Caps - I really love the Canon, although they
manufacture the world's worst lens caps. Nikon lens caps are much easier to use.

Most Analysts Hold Belief that
Kodak Will Not Survive Forces of Market
Kodak, even in bankruptcy, holds some strengths to be envied: a golden brand, with technology firepower that embraces
a rich array of photo patents, plus over $4 billion dollars in annual digital cameras, inks and printer sales..
However all that may fall short in reviving its declining fortunes through a Chapter 11 remake.

Kodak has arrived at an economic crossroad: It could take the path of fallen Circit City and Montgomery Ward , which never revived from a long period of decline. Or Kodak could thrive after bankruptcy, just as General Motors did.
